Veg Manchurian tastes great with fried rice or Hakka Noodles. After trying out at least 4-5 recipes of veg Manchurian i came to this recipe that is entirely restaurant style veg Manchurian. My sister told me about this recipe and now finally, I'm satisfied with it.

For Manchurian Balls
- 1 cup shredded Cabbage
- 1/2 cup finely chopped Capsicum
- 1/2 cup finely chopped Carrot
- 1/2 cup finely chopped Onion
- 1/2 cup shredded Cauliflower
- 1 green chilli finely chopped
- 3tbsp All Purpose flour(Maida)
- 1 tbsp Rice flour
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- Oil to fry
- 2 Tomato's medium size
- 1 tsp Garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
- 1-1.5 cup finely chopped vegetables:- Cabbage, Onion, Capsicum, Carrot
- Spring Onion for ganishing
- 1tbsp Soya Sauce
- 1tbsp Chilli Sauce
- 1tsp Vinegar
- Pinch Of Ajino Motto
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper according to taste
- 1tbsp Tomato sauce (optional)
- 1tbsp Cornflour powder
- 1-2 tbsp Oil
Method
For Veg Manchurian Balls
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. While adding all purpose flour, adjust its quantity according to binding. If you feel you don't need 3tbsp of maida for binding you can adjust it according to yourself.
- Now make small balls of it and deep fry them.
- Grind tomato's in a grinder and prepare tomato paste of it.
- Take oil in a pan. Add ginger-chilli paste and garlic paste to it.
- Now add tomato paste to it. Mix well and cook on low flame for 5-8 minutes till it starts leaving oil.
- Now add chopped vegetables to it and saute them for 3-4 minutes till they are half cooked.
- Now mix cornflour in 1-2 tbsp of water. Mix it well so that no lumps are formed.
- Mix soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce (optional), vinegar, ajino motto, salt and black pepper. Stir it well and cook for 2 minutes.
- Now add cornflour-water mixture to it. Cook it again for 3 minutes.
- Now add Manchurian balls to it. Garnish it with spring onion.
- Serve hot veg Manchurian with fried rice or hakka noodles.
